Meters and More AISBL took part in KEY – The Energy Transition Expo 2026 in Rimini, engaging with stakeholders across the energy ecosystem and exchanging views on the role of open smart metering technologies in supporting the energy transition. The event provided a valuable opportunity to connect with companies, partners and sector representatives, and to discuss key themes such as interoperability, data management and the evolution of smart energy systems.
During the event, Carlo Maria Drago, General Manager of Meters and More, also participated as a speaker in two technical sessions organised by ENEA. The first focused on the Data Table of the CER Observatory, highlighting the importance of data in improving the understanding and monitoring of energy communities. The second was dedicated to the PELL–Chain2 project, exploring the opportunities linked to second-generation smart meters and the role of communication protocols in the monitoring and management of public lighting infrastructure.
These exchanges confirmed the growing relevance of open and interoperable solutions in enabling a more connected, efficient and data-driven energy system. Meters and More would like to thank all those who visited the stand and contributed to the discussion.
